No bake cheesecakes are gaining popularity because of the convenience, speedy preparation and the same delicious, cheesy texture and taste they offer. No bake cheesecake recipes are great for those who are in a rush to treat their guests to a delicious dessert. It could also be for those who are just too busy to bake. During summer, the kitchen could be smoldering and the idea of having to bake something is just out of the question. Here are ideas for your cheesecake.

Remember when you used to mix flavored Jello and water, placed it in the fridge, and consumed it a few hours later? It is so easy to make Jello kids can make it themselves. It is similarly easy to make no-bake cheesecake. Plus, you can still use your favorite flavored Jello. Preparation time for a cake that serves 16 could take as little as 20 minutes of your time!

All you need are crust mixes, filling mixes, butter, sugar, water, and milk for the crust and filling. If you want to add chocolate, just microwave squares of chocolate on High for around 2 minutes or until they are close to melted and mix in with the filling. There are jelly brands that offer no-bake recipes where all you need to do is refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the dessert is firm after preparation. To decorate your cheesecake, you can spread on a pre-made fruit topping like cherry or strawberry, or drizzle over melted chocolate or chocolate syrup.

Why make your own crust/filling when you can use ingredients that were already made for you? The idea of a no-bake cheesecake is also based on using ingredients that are already ready-to-eat. Use Graham cracker crumbs and softened Philadelphia cheese. Along with melted butter, sugar, whipped topping, and frozen mixed berries, your cheesecake can be consumed right away after being chilled, without baking. You will no longer need egg yolks, which require baking. You can use other fresh fruits for your instant toppings, including strawberries, blueberries, kiwi fruits, oranges, and pineapples. You can also simply buy a bar of dark or white chocolate and top your no-bake cheesecake with shavings.

Crush graham crackers well so your crust does not crumble easily. Mix crushed graham crackers, sugar, and butter/margarine evenly. An easy way to press the crust onto your pan evenly is by using the bottom part of your measuring cup. Note: many crusts still require baking, but only for 6 to 7 minutes and you no longer need to bake your filling. If you have baked your crust, you need to let it cool completely before pouring in the filling. Do not over-beat the filling and add ingredients to the filling slowly and one at a time. When keeping the cheesecake in the refrigerator, make sure it is firm and well chilled before serving.

As you can see, it is not hard to make your own cheesecake. No bake cheesecake recipes make it super easy to treat family and friends in an instant!
